Two Excting New Releases.....

We are a day or so away from the start of harvesting for vintage 2024, and we've decided to do a quick release, before the picking and winemaking keeps us busy...

This is a tandem release of two exciting wines from vintage 2021 & 2022.

First up is the Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot 2021, from a season that gave us small crops with fantastic concentration. A captivating wine, bursting with floral, blue and red fruit aromas, accented with exotic spice and orange zest, underscored by an...

The Latest Release from the Sauvage Vineyard

This is the third release from the beautiful North East facing vineyard on Felton Road, that we  named the “Sauvage Vineyard”.

It has all the hallmarks of Bannockburn Pinot Noir, with a bountiful array of ripe black plum and cherries notes, that are underlain with bright red fruits, black tea, and savoury/spice characters.

The palate delivers ripe, juicy tannins, that are balanced by a crunchy red berry freshness. We believe, it’s an exciting & complex expression of Bannockburn Pinot Noir, and has cellaring potential of 10+ years.

Many of you have followed us since our 2009...

We kicked off vintage on the 22nd of March, and all the Pinot Noir, Riesling & Grüner Veltliner are now in tank, and filling the winery with heady aromas, as they progress through fermentation. As we are...

It's a Wrap for 2022

The Festive season is almost upon us, and 2022 will soon roll into an exciting 2023.

It’s always good to end the year on a high note, and we recently celebrated Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019 making the Wine Spectator and James Suckling Top 100 wines of 2022.

We have also been recognised by the Real Review as being a Three Merit Winery, with Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir, being one of only four Central Otago Pinot Noir to gain this ranking. In the words of Bob Campbell MW & Huon Hooke;

They are seen...
