A Burn Cottage Pinot Noir Trifecta

A Burn Cottage Pinot Noir Trifecta

We wanted to share some exciting press that we received recently. A trio of Burn Cottage wines were featured in the Wine Spectator’s Insiders publication, the line-up is selected by the editor and highlights the most exciting new wines they have tasted.

The Wine Spectator is one of the Worlds most respected publications, and has been helping international wine consumers, choose exciting wines for over 45 years. To get three wines in the recent line-up is a spectacular result, especially when you consider, they were selected from some of the 15 000 wines, tasted each year.

First up the Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019 received an amazing 96 points and from our vineyard in Bannockburn, the Burn Cottage Sauvage Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019 picked up 95 Points. The icing on the cake went to the Burn Cottage Moonlight Race Pinot Noir 2020, which was given 96 points and was also selected as the“Hot Pick”,which the Spectator explains, “They are high-scoring wines from around the world, that may be difficult to find, but are worth seeking out”.

Whilst we are not driven by reviews, it is an endorsement on an international level, of the calibre of Pinot Noir that we are making in Central Otago.

We love the fact that each bottle we make, is destined to end up on your table and shared with family and friends, or listed at some of the world’s top restaurants and wine bars.

Whilst some of the wines are running low in stock, we do have them available for you now.

Cheers

Marquis, Dianne, and the Burn Cottage Crew
