Marquis and Dianne, the owners of Burn Cottage are heading down from Chicago to join in the festivities, and they will be in attendance, along with Claire our winemaker and some of the other Burn Cottage crew.
After the turmoil of the last few years, we decided it was a great opportunity to raid the winery cellar for some special wines… at all the events you’ll get to taste wines from large formats, older vintages, and a selection of new releases…
As you’ll see we have partnered with some fantastic restaurants, that are doing menus designed around our wines.
We’d love you to join us to celebrate and share in some great wines, food, and hospitality.
Auckland - Mr Morris - Private Dining Room
Join Claire, our Winemaker and Marquis & Dianne the owners of Burn Cottage, as we team up with the amazing chefs and Sommelier at Mr. Morris. The restaurants motto is “A place to be served, nourished and indulged” and we know they will do all three at this one-off event in Auckland.
The talented Michael Meredith and his culinary team have created a menu especially for the evening to be matched with a selection of special wines that we have pulled from the winery cellar. This will include some older vintages, large formats, and a peak at some new releases….
Tuesday 29th November 6.30-9.00pm – Mr Morris Private Dining Room – Cnr Galway &, Commerce Street, $195 – 4 Courses + snacks and 6 wines

Wellington - Ortega Fish Shack - Private Dining Room
The Ortega Fish shack really needs no introduction, and has been a must go spot in Wellington, since the doors opened in 2009. As Davey the owner explains, their philosophy is rooted in a genuine and life-long love of food, wine, and good times around the table. Marquis & Dianne the owners of Burn Cottage, along with Claire our winemaker will be pouring a special selection of large formats, older vintages and new release wines from the Burn Cottage cellar and the Ortega team will be preparing a four course menu to match……
Wednesday 30th November 6.30-9.00pm – Ortega Fish Shack Private Dining Room - 16 Majoribanks Street $150 – 4 Courses and 6 wines.

Central Otago - Bannockburn Hotel - Long table lunch
Over the last six years Anna & Andy the owners of The Bannockburn Hotel have turned an old country pub into modern day food and wine bastion, that has become the go to restaurant for all of us in the Central Otago wine industry. We have secured the use of the Hotel for an exclusive Burn Cottage long table lunch. Marquis and Dianne the owners of Burn Cottage, along with Claire our winemaker and several of the Burn Cottage crew will be serving a selection of special wines from the Burn Cottage Cellar, including large format bottles, older vintages, and a few new releases. To match with the wines a five-course menu will be created by Andy and the Bannockburn Hotel team.
Saturday 3rd December 12pm-2.45pm - The Bannockburn Hotel - 420 Bannockburn Road, Cromwell $140 – 5 Courses + 6 Wines.
