Two Excting New Releases.....
We are a day or so away from the start of harvesting for vintage 2024, and we've decided to do a quick release, before the picking and winemaking keeps us busy...
This is a tandem release of two exciting wines from vintage 2021 & 2022.
First up is the Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot 2021, from a season that gave us small crops with fantastic concentration. A captivating wine, bursting with floral, blue and red fruit aromas, accented with exotic spice and orange zest, underscored by an intriguing earthy/mineral note. It has a supple texture, balanced tannins, and lengthy palate, that offers immediate pleasure, with 10+ years of cellaring.

Next up is Burn Cottage Moonlight Race Pinot Noir 2022. Blended from parcels off our three estate vineyards, we consider this to be quintessential Central Otago in its style. Think, succulent dark Otago cherries and black Doris plums with the freshness of red cherries and spice.
Since the release of the 2014 vintage, Moonlight Race has found its home in restaurants across the globe, and proven it’s versatility with an array of cuisines.
A long time supporter, Kika restaurant in Wanaka , has a signature slow-cooked lamb shoulder, infused with succulent lemon, rosemary, and chili, which marries perfectly with Moonlight Race Pinot Noir.
