Orders

Burn Cottage Vineyard will only accept online orders from customers with physical delivery addresses in the countries where deliveries is possible. All prices listed are quoted in New Zealand dollars NZD$ and all orders will be processed in New Zealand dollars NZD$

Delivery Policy

Please allow up to 7 working days from date of purchase for delivery within NZ, 1-4 weeks for Australia, USA, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and EU, UK 6-10 weeks.

For countries abroad we use NZ based international delivery company NZ Wine Home.

Delivery service fees cover all cost of delivery to your door. Full terms and conditions found on www.nzwinehome.co.nz.

Recipient not home

NZ: If the recipient is not home when the courier arrives, and there has been no authority / instruction from the buyer to leave the delivery on premise, a calling card will be left at the door or in the letterbox asking them to call the courier to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery or pick up from the local post office or depot. The timing for re-delivery may be affected in line with this.

Returned Goods and Refund Policy

Should an item you receive as part of an order from Burn Cottage Vineyard contain a fault – the said product/s should be returned directly to the winery. If the product is a wine, it should be returned with remaining wine left in the bottle for analysis. A replacement bottle will be sent to the customer upon receipt of the faulty wine- no monetary refund will be offered.

Please Note: no refunds are offered if customers simply change their mind about the product purchased.

Burn Cottage Vineyard is committed to protecting your privacy. The information that we collect is only used to facilitate your transactions on our site and to enhance your overall experience with us.

We do not collect personal information about you if you only browse this website.

What information do we collect and how do we use it? When you place an order through this website, we need to know your name, e-mail, phone number, address and credit card details if paying by credit card. This allows us to process and fulfill your order successfully.

A Changing World
-

We work in an industry that is constantly changing and each vintage throws us curveballs, however they are normally in the form of rain, frost, hot/cold snaps, machinery break down and the odd pesky bird trying to eat the ripening grapes.What we have seen over the last while is something that no one could have predicted and unlike what Mother Nature usually delivers us, this is something we don’t have a solution for in the viticultural/winemaking tool kit.

Our distributors and customers across the world have been in touch and the shutdown of restaurants, bars, cafes is having a huge impact on their businesses and the lives of their teams. Which is no doubt something that everyone is feeling right now. However they are all looking forward and working on ways to adapt to the current situation and to be in a position to pick things up once we return to some sense of normality.

Likewise, we have put plans in place to ensure the vineyard and winemaking team are safe over vintage 2020, which is now only a matter of days away. We have a slightly smaller crop than normal, which is beneficial, as we will be able to harvest with a reduced number of staff. If you want to see how things are progressing with vintage 2020, we’ll have updates on Instagram and our Facebook page over the coming weeks.

We have also been reviewing the cost of having wine delivered to people like yourself and the rest of our supporters. The good news is that we have been able to negotiate some new short term rates for New Zealand and some overseas markets (Australia & the USA).
